There are two ghosts that are well known to haunt Hampton Court. They were both English Queens and wives of Henry VIII. One is Jane Seymour who died shortly after giving birth to Prince Edward, and the other is the shrieking ghost of Catherine Howard executed for adultery. However there is another who finds no peace, and her only downfall was loyalty to the royal family.
Hampton Court was once the property of Cardinal Wolsey. Henry VIII who took Hampton Court from Wolsey was believed to have peopled the place with its many ghosts.
In July 1945, the battle of Okinawa took place, leaving over 200,000 dead, among them over one-third of civilians who lived on the island. Okinawans had been forced to commit suicide by the Japanese military or be executed. Lawlessness was rampant on the island and refugees lived in the hills. A month later atomic bombs would fall on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and amid this turmoil the disappearance of three young Marines was barely noticed.
Their names were James D. Robinson (Savannah, Ga.), John M. Smith (Cincinnati), and Isaac Stokes (Chicago). Initially they were listed by military as deserters and then they were declared missing in action. They were all 19 years old.
Early in the 19th century, the railroad was the only way to travel throughout the United States and where goods were shipped to different destination points. Many times the depots were on the outskirts of town, which became the seedier area known as the tenderloin. Saloons and brothels were close by and the poor often lived in the area since it was the only place they could afford. Such was the story of a poor woman who lived in a shanty in Harper's Ferry in West Virginia. Her name was Jenny. Is there any truth to the story of the unfortunate Jenny?
Harper's Ferry is tucked between rugged mountain ridges where the Shenandoah and Potomac Rivers meet. In 1794, President Washington asked Congress to establish a federal armory which consisted of 20 buildings along the south bank of the Potomac.
Roswell is famous in UFOlogy for the alien spaceship crash that occurred in July, 1947. While the mystery of what really occurred that summer day in Roswell has consumed all the attention, there are other mysteries that have gone under the radar. What could be more mysterious than an extraterrestrial you may ask, how about its ghost?
Let's have a hot-tub time moment and return to 1947. In July, a crash is reported of an alien craft in Roswell, New Mexico and alien bodies are taken to Roswell Air Field hospital. It was rumored that one of the ETs was still alive at the crash site, and then died at the hospital. The wreckage and the remains were held at Hangar 84 a former B-29 hangar located on East Enterprise Ave, until being shipped to different destinations. One of them was the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio and its notorious "Hangar 18".
Over 50 years ago Amy Billig, 17, was last seen hitchhiking on Main Highway in Coconut Grove, Florida. She was thumbing a ride to her father's office to get money from him, and she had plans to meet her friends later that day. Neither her father, her friends or as matter of fact anybody ever saw Amy after this moment in time.
The idea of a teenage girl jumping into a vehicle with a complete stranger seems totally alien, if not downright dangerous in today's world. However on March 5, 1974, it was a very popular way for girls in the hippy era to get around.
John the Balladeer, also referred to as Silver John, was the creation of author Manly Wade Wellman. This fantastic tale involves a small town where none of the inhabitants will talk about, or cross the river over to the abandon mill and old house that once housed its workers before they all disappeared. Music can sometimes be heard from the derelict area. A man is forced to follow the woman he loves across the bridge one night when she goes to find out its secret.

Cory Daniel is a 3rd generation Phoenician, writer/researcher and professional guide. Raised in the Valley of the Sun, he developed a passion for ethnobotany, and later everything Native American and old west. Staring at the age of 18, he spent the next 10 years roaming the Big Sandy Valley, studying religion, physics, poetry, botany, philosophy, primitive survival, traditional archery and the occult. He rode for a local ranch working cattle the old way and teamed up with an old prospector to explore the surrounding mountains and valleys. Many afternoons were spent in trading posts listening to first-hand accounts of ruins, lost mines, secret springs and caves deep in the desert. Cowboys and adventurers, prospectors, and fugitives were all daily characters during that time and rounded out his education.

First published in Hutchinson's Magazine, September 1922. An unidentified narrator is spending a holiday in Switzerland with his cousin 'Professor Ingram, the celebrated physiologist and alpine climber' ¹. Prompted by news from the Everest expedition, during which, so he says, "they thought they came across the tracks of some naked human foot at a great altitude," Ingram recalls an occasion 20 years previously when he saw a 'wild man' on that mountain out there, the Ungeheuerhorn (Horror Horn).
Over forty years ago a small town in northeast Kansas got the unwanted attention of occultists and vandals, when stories started to surface that one of its cemeteries was a hotbed of dark paranormal events.
The town of Stull is separated from the church and cemetery by a highway. The headstones are etched with German surnames such as Stull, Hildenbrand, Bittinger, Wulfkuhle among others. There is one place on the grounds that is supposed to be the portal to hell, and ironically it's the burned-out ruins of an Evangelical prairie church, which in truth did not burn down.
Disbelief and ridicule, this is the fear promoted by the devil according to Father Gary Thomas as it relates to sexual abuse victims, but it seems that secrecy is the devil's best ally.
Father Gary Thomas has for many years been the exorcist for the Diocese of San Jose, California. He was mentored in Rome by Father Carmine De Filippis. The Rite: The Making of a Modern Exorcist (2009), and the film The Rite based on the book included Father Thomas and his training in Rome
In January, 2017 a discovery was made in Northamptonshire from the Romano-Britain period. The corpse was buried face down and his tongue had been cut out and replaced with a flat stone. These are all indicators that this individuals was considered odd or a threat to the community.
It is speculated that the man’s tongue was cut out as a punishment for spreading malicious accusations. Or perhaps he was scapegoated for bad weather, as the area where he was buried became a cemetery only when it became too flooded for habitation.
