Ghost Stories for the Day of the Dead | M.P. Pellicer

Some ghost stories of yesteryear, of those that do not lie quietly in their graves.

For the first two years of the Civil War Charles Reed drove a hack to take dead soldiers from the battle field in West Virginia to where they would be shipped home. There were so many bodies that the practice was discontinued. He told the following story, stipulating that he was familiar with what a dead body looked like.
