Haunted Hobie Beach | Miami True Crime Stories

Marlene heads out to Hobie Beach which sits right on the edge of Key Biscayne and is one of the first beaches when driving over the Rickenbacker Causeway from Miami, to conduct a midnight ovilus session. Claims of shadow people and strange noises might coincide with a horrible murder that took place there in the 1980s.

Ghosts of South Florida | M.P. Pellicer

Over the years I have had several ghost stories sent anonymously to me, and it's these quaint and subtle stories of hauntings that I find so fascinating, because you realize that ghosts make their presence known in the most mundane of settings, and sometimes it's only in hindsight that we realize exactly what we were experiencing. I have excluded surnames and exact addresses in order to protect the privacy of families. The following are those stories:


Uncle Charles

My family owns an old home in rural Davie. The tiny home was hand-built by my great-uncle (via marriage) - a person I have never met. His name was Charles C. and he and his wife, Betty, lived there.

Ghosts of South Florida: Richmond Naval Base and South Beach | M.P. Pellicer

Two true ghost stories submitted to Miami Ghost Chronicles.


Richmond Naval Air Station
Richmond, was a blimp base hastily constructed in the early months of World War II. It was home to 25 K series blimps, three hangars, and 3,000 men. The hangars were 16 stories tall, built of Douglas fir brought in by train.
