Secret of Elena's Tomb | The Black Wedding

There was no moon on a night in the 1940s when four people went to Key West cemetery and took a casket from an ornate family crypt and buried it in an unmarked grave. In the casket were the remains of an ill-fated young woman who had known neither happiness in life not rest in death. What followed was one of the most disturbing cases that made headlines around the world as to what a sick mind will do all in the name of love. | Host – Marlene Pardo Pellicer

What Happened to Julie's Body? | M.P. Pellicer

Julie Mott's body disappeared in August, 2015. It was given to the Mission Park Funeral Home, and what happened to it is still a mystery.

Julie died on August 8, from cystic fibrosis. Her family attended services at Mission Park Funeral Home on August 15, which was her 26th birthday. The day of the service, her family left except Bill Wilburn, her ex-boyfriend who stayed behind for 15 minutes. Human Body Parts Used for Decorative Purposes | M.P. Pellicer

The plunder of bodies from Harvard Medical School's morgue earlier this year has led to the arrest of another person.

Within weeks of the arrest of Cedric Lodge in June, 2023, the one-time manager of the Harvard Medical School’s Anatomical Gift Program, a lengthy title for the morgue, police arrested James Nott.

FBI agents searched the home of 40-year-old Nott, located in Mount Washington, Kentucky where they found 40 human skulls, spinal cords, femurs and hip bones.

In an abundance of precaution, they asked him if anyone else was in the home. His response of, "only my dead friends," was quite unexpected.

The agents found a skull on Nott's bed, and another wrapped in a head scarf. Others were positioned as decorations around his home. They also found a Harvard Medical School bag.

The Business of Stolen Body Parts | M.P. Pellicer

Did a robber who broke into a truck parked in Denver's Central Park neighborhood realize they were making off with human remains?

In March, 2022, a medical truck used to transport body parts for medical research was considered not the usual mark for thieves. What was taken was a white carboard box measuring 20 x 15 x 18 inches marked with "Science Care" on the exterior which is the company that accepts bodies donated to science. There was another label “Exempt Human Specimen”. Inside the box were human heads.
